Donny Hathaway, Otis Redding, Boys To Men, Brian Mcknight, Cody Chestnut.

Who's coming out with the most exciting sound on the scene right now?
Ryan Shaw, James Morrison

Which other urban artist would you most like to work with and why?
Prince, no explanation necessary

Just how un-urban is Keith Urban?
Keith Urban is an awesome singer/songwriter and a great guitar player.

Do you consciously write 'urban music' or is it just your natural sound?
I think I sing in an Urban way rather than write in an urban way. When writing, the melody that is composed is very dependent on the riff or rhythm that is being sung over too.

What's more important, awards voted for by the public or big money prizes?!
Public of course.

How do you think the Australian urban scene compares with the UK or the USA?
Not as much encouragement as there is to be a tight jeans wearing rock band but good music always prevails, eg. Hilltop.

When's the last time you did something for the first time?
Played a gig in Roxby Downs (around 7 hours North-West of Adelaide ie. Sticksville) a couple weeks ago.
