Another great win on Sunday against Melbourne. We are really on a great run at the moment but I must say we did look very tired at the weekend and the week off has came at a good time for us. Last weekend against the Saints was very workman-like, with everyone doing their role for the team and getting the job done. It was great to get Big Bazza back and he looked sharp and will be much better for the run out and will need another few weeks to get his touch back but the early signs are very good following his wrist surgery. ...

We had a great win last weekend against a team who had some good games against some form teams and we really set ourselves for a tough, hard game. What eventuated was that Richmond, to be fair, didn't turn up to play and we got them on an off day. Honestly I don't think they are as poor as they played against us last weekend. For myself it was fantastic to be back playing after dislocating my left knee a few weeks beforehand. ...

What a fantastic win it was at the weekend. We started the game very brightly and it was a very open game with eight goals to six being scored in the first quarter. The next three were very tight and tough and it was a real hard, gutsy win by the boys. In the last quarter Port Adelaide were all over us and it was our pressure and coolness that got us over the line in the end and with some great efforts from our young players in Jarred Moore and Tim Schmidt. ...

It was a good win for us at the weekend against a team who are very much an out-and-out attacking team. We went into it thinking about the games we had dropped so far in the season and we weren't too happy about the previous two week's results against the Kangas and the Doggies. After a weekend off I'm feeling very refreshed and looking forward to this weekend where we play Essendon at ANZ stadium on Sunday at 2. Most of the players had the weekend off except for the boys who played the Hall of Fame game. It was a very free-flowing game of football and the skill level on show was unbelievable and it was great to see the best at what they do in action together. The game was a huge success and from a players' point of view. ...

Second quarters costly

It was a very disappointing game for us on the weekend against the Bulldogs. We started so brightly and were in front by three goals at quarter-time but like the week before our second quarter has cost us four points. We have let North Melbourne and the Bulldogs run over the top of us in the second quarter in the past two weeks. ...

It was a very strange feeling coming off the ground on Sunday after a draw with North Melbourne, it's an empty feeling and you don't know whether to cry or laugh but at the end of the day I think two points is better than none. Having drawn at the weekend, it begs the question of extra time. I would be all for two halves of five minutes so as to get a result, especially considering the way we played in the last 15 minutes of the game where we kicked 2. ...

It was a a great effort on Saturday against Geelong down there but a game that we could have taken considering we got to within three points and had a shot for the lead halfway through the last quarter. We really pushed them and got our game plan up and going and looked like we were going to shake the game at three-quarter-time but what was disapointing was the way we crumbled and the way Geelong ran over the top of us for the last 10 minutes. ...
