Swearing in her prime

There sure are a heck of a lot of new faces on the old faces in Hollywood. We're talking about none other than the grand dame of comedy, Joan Rivers who was ousted from a U.K. TV talk show after dropping a swear word live to air.

Joan, 75, doesn't regularly scale the stellar heights of Search however her rant about New Zealand-Australian actor Rusty, aka Russell Crowe saw queries on 'Joan Rivers' and 'Joan Rivers swearing' steadily climbing.

It's not like Rivers hasn't sworn publicly before. Not even royalty seems to stop her. Maybe she's become drinking buddies with Gordon Ramsey in her spare time. That'd explain it. Rivers' recent swearing attracted 61 complaints from unimpressed viewers. Her excuse for it? "I thought there was a seven-second delay," she said.

Searchers were curious about the unwrinkled one, who is well known for her self-depracating humour, and wanted to know exactly what she said.

The US comedian who was on the UK TV show to promote her West End acting debut in the play 'Joan Rivers: A Work in Progress by a Life in Progress' - was due to return to the show after the ad break but was instead thrown out of the 'Loose Women' TV program studio.

Other celebrity lookups in Search this week include Paris Hilton who has been surprisingly quiet on the scandal front in recent times. Her blip on the Search radar this week stems from her allegedly throwing a hissy fit when she was turned away from buying a puppy at a pet store.

Apparently the dog owner wasn't convinced Paris would be a responsible dog owner. Still, someone gave Brit a dog. Surely that's gotta be the litmus test. Ah well, at least the socialite has found puppy love with Benji Madden.

donga14444 You must have selective hearing then. I've heard Russell Crowe using bad language on TV. You sound like a right prig too, but perhaps you are an Aussie, hypocrisy is alive and well and living in Aus, maybe Kiwis are the same?
Joan was right in what she said though!
