A couple of blog ago, I wanted to know what you'd ask some of the big stars I've got coming up on my interview roster. Well, I'm happy to report I have my first reply for you! "lisalippard0503" wondered what Vince Vaughn had on his ipod and, after seeing his impressive boogying with complete abandonment in his new holiday flick "Fred Claus," I had to inquirer. To my surprise, he admitted that he doesn't even OWN an ipod and that he'll occasionally borrow one. It's not that he's a luddite (like me!), it's more a case of his wanting to remain free of clutter. Hmmm...technological Feng Shui?? Would you believe he doesn't own a cell phone, either!? He revealed that he borrows them from time to time when he's working, but otherwise prefers to remain incommunicado. I found VV to be a charming, enthusiastic interviewee, far different from the couch-potato Casanova persona he's perfected in so many films. I say, more dancing from Vince! Maybe a "Swingers" sequel??

Sir Anthony Hopkins, on the other hand, is an ipod owner but admits to being completely baffled by the downloading process and why anyone would even want to be bothered with it all. To tell you the truth, when I'm at the health club working out I often wonder the same thing when I see folks spending more time fiddling with their gadgets than they do paying attention to their exercise. Maybe it was all my years as a fitness instructor that I have rebelled against the need for a constant soundtrack to accompany my workouts. Keep the gadgets out of the gym!

One of my running buddies would most certainly disagree with me, though. Jeff Myers is not only a marathoner, but a film director who's dabbled in Music Videos. In fact, his latest, Rodrigo Y Gabriela's "Diablo Rojo," is nominated for an MTV Woodie Award. You could actually have a hand in giving Jeff a Woodie! Meantime, Hollywood has survived another Halloween and I had another excuse to wear my "Flash" superhero costume!

Are you paying attention George Miller & David Dobkin? Don't forget me when casting the "Justice League of America" and "The Flash" flicks. Apparently, "Prison Paris Hilton" was the most popular costume, although there were plenty of couples dolled up as "Brangelina," complete with an assortment of "orphans" to drag around. My mate Steven Corfe had a fright-fest that included spooky décor of a skeleton adorned with Nicole Richie's face. It was a great party until the police came to shut it down and were mistaken for a few more costumed revelers. Neil Patrick Harris as a Scary Clown, Mario Lopez as some sort of Aztec warrior, Larry Birkhead as Jedi warrior, Keifer Sutherland as a whiskey bottle (!), Rosie O'Donnell as Queen Elizabeth I (Cate Blanchett has nothing to worry about), Teri Hatcher as Alice in Wonderland's Queen of Hearts and Britney Spears going way out of character as a bar wench... I guess even celebrities still like to play dress up!
