Hey, and did anyone else think that was the coolest cautionary tale on tv ever? It totally had a Twighlight Zone feeling to it! Anyone who knows me knows I don't think too highly of Nikki and Paulo, so it was great to learn that they really did deserve my scorn for being horrible. Maybe not to the point of being buried alive, but you get me...

Sweet, the
secret clue is up, and it's a heart-stopper... do things ever stay buried on Lost island? I think not... Also, check out my
exclusive interview with Billy Dee Williams, who played himself on the tonight's episode, also appearing as Mr LaShade/The Cobra on the show within the show, for his insight as to what is really going on and who the big bad may be!

Nikki and Paulo - R.I.P. I truly hope you do. Though I suspect Nikki might've struggled for a moment or too... I'm sorry, that was horrible, but so were they. I mean, we witnessed them poison a man in cold blood so that they could steal his diamonds. At this point, I'd like to point out Nikki's stupidity - she wouldn't let Paulo smoke because he'd leave behind ash as evidence, yet she handles the safe with her bare hands. Pfft - amateur hour.

But what lovely hands they are, especially when they're clutching $8 million worth of diamonds. Doesn't matter though - as
Biggie said, mo money, mo problems, and those diamonds were definitely this girl's best friend. Even Paulo knew it - he hid the diamonds so she wouldn't ditch him. If wasn't so whiney, I might have even felt sorry for him.

But guess what? I don't, not really. Just like everyone else on the island, he had his secrets, but unlike the characters we've followed for 2 1/2 years, he hasn't moved on and let go of the past. He is still caught in Nikki's web of deceit and tries to hide his problem by stuffing it down deep and hiding it. As Locke so helpfully points out, nothing stays buried - I'm sure hoping N+P do, despite what the secret clue suggests. Unless they come back as zombies, I'd like that. Perhaps they'd have more life in them then.

I have to admit though, I LOVED how they found ways to work them into the main story. Green-screening Nikki into the crash footage was brilliant, and the scene played out brilliantly - we saw Gary Troup bite the big one
again! It also filled in some great plot points that we'd long wondered about, such as whether the Others knew about The Pearl (they did), how the rest of the group learnt about the case of guns (Kate talked) and that Dr Arzt collected weird spiders and thought he was
Darwin (he's not).

It was also very cool to see how much the island must have influenced Locke and Eko in their trek to find the ?. As you can see, the hatch entrance would've been pretty tough to spot without McBeardy having covered it without the plane. The Pearl played a massive role this ep - we learnt Benry's original plan for getting Jack by using Michael and also how McBeardy knew so much about Locke and Jack at the confrontation at the Line - both had spent a great deal of time in the Swan hatch at that point, unlike Sawyer...

Check it out - probably the last time you'll see Nikki on my blog, hiding her stolen booty that cost her her life, even though Vincent tried to intervene. We'll miss your snarky remarks, Nikki. And Paulo? We'll miss your, um.... snarky remarks?
OMG Sylar VS Peter next week! Get your tickets folks - I'm predicting that is going to be one hell of a fight! Plus: Nathan's a snitch? Mohinder grew a pair? Candice is project herself as anyone! Hiro has his sword! Ando is security?! And Grandma Petrelli has her fingers in more pies than we thought?
A few other cool things for you to check out this week. If you've got a video iPod, then you're going to want to head to the iTunes store right now - they've just released an exclusive Lost video game, written by the creative team! I grabbed it and, while only lasting perhaps an hour all up, it completely delivered! Without a doubt, it is the most detailed game released through iTunes yet and, for only $7.49, you're a goose if you don't treat yourself :) Then, head over to the Y!7 TV page where they're trying to find out who is Australia's Hottest Homegrown Honey and give Emilie de Ravin (Claire) all your support!
Finally, head over to the Movies site to check out an exclusive interview I did with Michael Chiklis, who plays The Thing in Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer! I'll have interviews with the rest of the cast going up over the next few weeks, grab em while they're fresh! Thanks for your continued support, you crazy ninjas - you rock my world and make it all worthwhile!
Namaste
