I Missed The Last Train From Tallahassee

Hey, and sorry about yesterdays muck around, things are sorted, but I'm still sending this from an alternative undisclosed location... I want to give a shout out to everyone hassling me - you rock! No wait, the other one... Patientice is a virtue, and it would appear I'm a little more virtuous than some of you! :P To everyone else - you rock!

ZOMG How incredibly great was this episode? I LOVE Locke episodes, and I'll go as far as saying it was the best Locke episode since Walkabout, the very first one when we learnt Locke was in the wheelchair. I guess in that way it was only fitting that we learned how this event - his evil, crazy dad Anthony Cooper shoved him out the window of his eighth story apartment! Just try and look me in the eyes and tell me you saw that coming - there is no way! Find it unbelievable he's survive? Read this.

So, I stand by my claim that Sayid is the go-to guy for the right plan on the island. His plan here may not have worked out, but I feel the blame lies more at Locke's feet far more. He and Kate stormed Jack's Otherville house, only to get pounced on almost immediately - the Others have cameras hidden in the ceilings and, as pointed out later by McBeardy Tom, microphones as well...

While they were trying to follow through with the plan, Locke was off on his own crazy agenda - performing a snatch and grab on Benry so that he could gain access to the sub. The scenes inside Benry's house had a ton of cool clues - A Brief History of Time was clearly visible, the clocks were all going haywire with the time, a painting of a woman holding a hamster and a ton of dark chicken.

While trying to get the location out of Benry, Locke revealed enough of his intentions for Benry to work out his entire plan. As we saw later, it looks like Locke did what he hoped he'd do all along...

Or did he? If you haven't seen the secret clue yet, make sure you go check it out - is Locke the totally self-serving singular man we think he is, or does he have everyone's best interests at heart? If he did simply move the sub, he has effectively fooled both camps - he can later possibly liberate the Losties without having to leave himself....

Here is a great still where it is pretty tough to see the sub, if it is indeed there. Notice how soaking wet he is. He totally moved it, swam back and put the C4 below the wharf....

And here is another, cleaner shot of the wharf going BOOM. Can I add - if giving Locke a bag o boom causes this much excitement, can it please please please happen more often? :) Also, Jack had the look of a killer in his eyes when he and Locke stared each other down post-boom.

It definitely looks like we are getting closer to a hopeful Alex Linus and Danielle Rousseau family reunion. The shot of Rousseau watching from the bushes was truly heartbreaking - seeing your daughter for the first time in 16 years would probably do that to!

And finally... Anthony Cooper is on the island?! WTF?! By this point, I've pretty much written Benry off - he is a dirty, stinking liar, and a tiger never changes it's stripes - so I rolled my eyes when he was banging on about "the magic box". Locke suggesting his wish himself a new sub was CLASSIC - I was, like, "Yeah Locke! Badassssss....." Turns out that was not what the box had to offer. Benry told Richard Alpert (he's on the island now?!) to go retrieve "the man from Tallahassee" who turned out to be Cooper! The panic in his eyes was tangible... what a cliffhanger!
