Hey, and just because there is no ep tonight, does that mean we can't still have some fun? *checks* Why yes, yes we can! I'm not going to make a super-long post like last week, but I am going to point out a few cool things happening around and have a brief chat about the amazing episode of Heroes last night!

Rather than recapping the entire episode (and I'm embarrassed to have not pointed you here early) I recommend you scoot across to the Heroes site and read the
recap for Homecoming that they have there, it really is very good. How fantastic was the battle between Sylar and Peter? I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, especially when Sylar was can-opening Claire's fellow cheerleader. I also have to give big props to my favourite two lines from the ep:
Peter: "Are you the one? Saving you, did I save the world?"
Claire: "I don't know - I'm just a cheerleader..."

Sooooo good! The show really does keep getting better and better. I'm pumped for the next episode, as it looks like we're heading back in time with Hiro! And speaking of our favourite teleporting time-traveller, check out this fantastic
exclusive interview with Masi Oka!

Now, a few of you have asked me what it is I've been up to of late, specifically what I meant by working on something big and cool for you all... I'm going to give you a lil' hint here peeps, out of the goodness of my own heart. If you head over to
Y!7 Movies, you might notice an exclusive interview with '
Sunshine' director Danny Boyle, and you might even recognise the interviewer! Stay tuned for more news on this exciting development...
So, I saw '300' earlier this week and I have to tell you - believe the hype. I had such a blast watching this, it really got my blood pumping and I've fighting the urge to swap my katana for a spear all week! You'll also know one of the main cast - Xerxes is played by Rodrigo Santoro, aka Paulo from Lost! Crazy... Well, if you love your ancient history as much as I do, you'll definitely want to enter the '300' competition over on Movies, as you can win a 3 week trip around the Middle East!

Hey look, Mr Bean has a new movie,
Mr Bean's Holiday. Heh. I always loved the way he tormented that stupid blue, three-wheeled boat lookin' car... I would've done the same, I think. That car sticks out like a stray kidney bean hiding in tripe.
**Random Music Video Plug #2 - 30 Seconds To Mars "From Yesterday" - Got +13 minutes to spare? Why not spend it with Jared Leto...**
I've also been catching a ridiculous amount of stand-up of late, as many of the world's greatest comedians are in the country for the Melbourne Comedy Festival and have been doing shows all over the place. If you're heading down to Melbourne, which I'm seriously considering doing, make sure you check out Dave Hughes' guide to the Melbourne Comedy Circuit!

One final, fantastically awesome thing you MUST check out, especially if you're a Sydney-sider. The
Supernova crew are back at it, this time bringing us a Sci-Fi Spectacular evening! Doug Jones will be there, better know to you as Pan from Pan's Labyrinth, Abe Sapien from Hellboy and soon to blow up worldwide as the Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four 2!

And the other special guest - why if it's not the slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindler himself, Biilly Dee Williams aka LANDO CALRISSIAN!
After that, I think I need a good lay down. Be good, peeps, and stay classy....
Namaste
