Hey, and I can't lie. I've been stunned into silence. That's right, the unflappable ninja cannot muster the words nor brain power to accurately described what went down this afternoon - yet. After I've slept on it, I know I'll be able to wrap my head around it but you know how sometimes, something can be TOO big to fathom? That's how I feel right now.
Things kicked off on mesenger a good three hours beforehand, where we all got in the mood to receive the word. People were excitedly listening in to DJ Dan's live podcast from all around the world, and a bunch of callers we knew from various blogs and boards manage to get through and ask awesome questions! Here's where Dan's kicked off from - a download link is sure to be there shortly :)Then Dan's SPECIAL GUEST called in, and his interview with a terribly depressed Rachel Blake began where he began to questions her regarding her actions and motivations. As she began to explain, co-host Tanya cut them off with an urgent message from a caller - listening on government frequencies, they had come across an armed combat squad preparing to attack the Hanso Foundation, co-ordinating movements through their radio. They went in for the kill and managed to snag Mittelwerk.
Or so they thought. They discovered their prize to be a decoy before Mittelwerk's voice broke in across their airwaves, with this chilling message:
"Gentlemen. I'm sorry to have to do this.
I can't have my work compramised.
You should run."
As we hear one of the soldiers realise the place is wired with explosives, Mittelwerk offers a final. cold "Namaste" and destroys the Hanso Foundation, blowing it sky high. Stunned, Rachel tells everyone to go to ABC.com for the tinal, concrete truth. (The link there is down now, but my GREAT friends at TLEC managed to snag it AND the podcast)
Prepare to meet Alvar Hanso, learn the true villain responsible for all Hanso's wrong-doings AND learn why Rachel has been so headstrong about bringing them to the ground. There is so much more to it, but that's all I'm giving you now. Watch it for yourself. Let it start to sink in, try and tell me if you're able to talk freely about it yet.
