Hey, and before I start my post proper, I want to talk about one thing. I was going to do a long post, but the wind has kind of been knocked out of me. You've probably heard by now that Steve Irwin aka The Crocodile Hunter died this morning after being stung by a stingray.
I just wanted to take a moment to pass on my deepest condolences to Terri, Bindi and Bob. I was shocked when I heard the news and it took a few hours to sink in. He was a great man who did an amazing amount of work, both for animal conservation around the world and raising Australia's tourism profile. Speaker and I may have made some jokes about me being the Croc Hunter but I assure you, he will be missed.I've got a few bits of news for you:
Sounds like things have been going VERY well at the Apollo drops. More people on Where Is Alvar, which is great.
HEAPS of ninjas contacted me via email to let me know where they are for Apollos. The plan is entering Phase 2 as of now, and I'm getting an Apollo to those of you who live in really remote places. I can't help everyone, so if you emailed me saying you can't get to a store because you're busy - I'm sorry, but I can't help you :( I've finished the list, the letters are addressed, so keep your eyes peeled...
Ninjas from Adelaide looking for Apollo - I said I was working on something, and it looks like it has come together! I don't want to jump the gun but I'll have concrete details for you tomorrow, check back then.
