Hey, and OMG what an ep! What an amazing twist, seeing the backstory of one of the key figures in the Others' camp... Juliet, Karl, that crazy room and a company which just screamed BAD! It really impressed me, as ded last night's episode of Heroes which featured the coolest Exploding Man you'll ever see! Lets get straight to it.
Make sure you check out the secret clue before we begin. It's the hearty meal to compliment the tasty dessert that is ninja.

Benry is, without a doubt, the most badass bad guy on television. Waking up mid-surgery to have a chat, give some orders and still being aware of how long he has left without a clock in the room? The dude 0wns, no doubt, and he'll be back to terrorise our Losties another day, thanks to super-surgeon Jack, but will he keep his word and let both Jack and Juliet go home? And will we learn more about his special father-daughter relationship?

It was interesting to note that Juliet said how long she'd been on the island - 3 years, 2 months and 28 days - meaning she would've arrived around the same time poor Des did, even though we know the Others had no idea he was around. I jumped out of my seat when her ex, named after another famous philosopher,
Edmund Burke, was mown down by the bus - but whooped when I saw the Apollo bar ad on the side! W00!

Danny's dead. Hands up if you a) care or b) didn't see that coming. Dude, you threaten Sawyer and think you're hard? You've got nothing on the sharp-shootin' ice queen Juliet. I wonder what broke her spirit and turned her into the hardass we're dealing with today? I mean, she was a total wuss in her flashback, completely whipped...

So this guy, Aldo, was sitting outside, reading a book and taking notes. He must be pretty smart, because
A Brief History of Time is heady stuff, especially when you can see him reading the chapter on black holes, gravity and the Grand Theory. Pretty smart for a dude who fell for the ol' Wookie prisoner routine... Did you catch the other Star Wars reference? Room 23 was definitely tied to the numbers, but Luke and Han liberate Leia from
Detention Block AA23 in A New Hope!
Yep. I'm still a geek.

So, Room 23 was awesome! Karl gets to wear a funky pair of glowing glasses and watch tv all day - sounds like fun! Oh, accept for the drip, hardcore music and disturbing brainwash video. Do you think this might be the room Ms Klugh threatened to bring Walt back to when he was talking with Michael in 3 Minutes? I reckon so...

This was definitely the standout screenshot for me - confirmation that Jacob is the name we need to trail because I'm certain he's the head honcho. Strange, the way the video contained both Christian and Buddhist text. This card of Jacob contains a further sly reference to the biblical Jacob - the shot of a staircase behind him brings to mind '
Jacob's Stairway to Heaven'... Check it out, let me know what you think - is he behind it all?

And here it is - the dodgy company that tried to rope Juliet in. Did anyone else have the name
MITTELWERK scream at them from their TV? I sure did. Stay tuned - I can't wait to learn more about them....

Last night's Heroes was fantastic, the show just keeps getting better with time kind of like a fine wine or a ventriloquist. Peter's vision showed us what the bomb really is - and if I were him, I'd be a little concerned. Rather than me banging on further about it, head over to the Heroes site and watch the
exclusive video interview with the cast about the meaning of Peter's vision!
While you're watching videos, check out the new Spider-Man 3 trailer with the first shots of villain Venom in action! Have mercy! Also, if you're like me, you might be counting down the days til you get to see Nine Inch Nails live.... to help tide you over, why not watch the new video Survivalism? It's cool, it looks like one of the survellaince cams in the Pearl!
Finally, I have some big news brewing... This coming Wednesday the 18th, I'll be attending the Sydney Supernova Sci-Fi Spectacular at Fox Studios from 6pm. The reason why you should care? I'll have my intrepid cameraman and general rabble-rouser Chris with me and I'm encouraging everyone who can make it along to help me with something special... We want your LOST theories, on film! If this sounds like something you'd be up for, all you need to do is show up, but if you'd like to send me an email beforehand to let me know you'll be there that's cool - hanso_ninja@yahoo.com.au. I hope to get to meet some of you there!
Namaste
