Paris plans second musical adventure

Reformed celebutante Paris Hilton has declared that she still has a desire to be a pop star, and will follow up her debut in the next year or so.

Indeed, she declared recently that she's working with famed producer Scott Storch - Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, R. Kelly, and many, many more - on her second release.

"I'm already working on my new record," she confirmed.

Reports have it that Paris has been taking vocal and dance lessions to prepare for it, and is serious about making an impact with her next release where debut 'Paris' and single "Stars Gone Blind" failed to set the world alight.

Hilton's debut album, appeared in August 2006, released via her own Heiress Records and distributed by major label Warner Bros., and upon release it hit number six on the Billboard Top 200 and has reportedly gone on to sell more than 600,000 copies.

Can Paris make it as a pop star?

I'm really glad that Paris can get back up on her own two feet. I'm sick of those stupid pop stars that need all people to steer them on the right track. Paris has a bad reputation and I can see why, but she can at least change some people's minds and turn her life around. Some people will always remember her for the bad things she's done, but at least now she's doing the right thing. But I do agree with the comment above me, can't she do something a little more original? We've got enough singin
