Floral lampshade

Add a dainty touch to a paper lampshade with stick-on flowers.



You'll need:
Matt paper shade
Acrylic paint in white and a colour of your choice
Foam brush
Flower stickers (available from craft stores) or flower cut-outs
Adhesive (if using flower cut-outs)
Clear varnish
Paintbrush

Step 1
Paint the shade with two coats of the main paint colour, drying between coats.

Step 2
Mix this colour with equal amounts of white paint and paint 4cm bands around the top and bottom of the shade.

Step 3
When dry, add the stickers or glue on the cut-outs. .



Step 4
Finish with two coats of clear varnish. Make sure the shade is thoroughly dry between coats.
