Dried-flower posies

Nov 27 11:37am
Fresh-as-spring "pomanders" with ribbon and lace loops look lovely in any room.

You'll need
Oasis from florists
Dried flowers
Ribbons
Lace
Wire
Florist's plastic film

Here's how
Step 1

Wire up each flower stalk or bunch and cover the wire with plastic film.

Step 2
Shape the Oasis into a ball. With a skewer, make a hole right through the centre of the ball.

Step 3
Wire a loop of ribbon and lace and cover the wire with plastic film. Similarly, wire a ribbon "tail" and cover the wire with plastic film.

Feed the wire with the loop through from the top of the ball, and the "tail" through from the bottom. Bend each wire end over and press back into the ball to secure.

Step 4
Position all flowers and extra loops of ribbon into the ball until it is uncovered.
