Here's how
1. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan. Add the onion and garlic and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until softened. Stir in the tomatoes and tomato paste and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced and thickened. Season with plenty of salt and cracked pepper. Stir in the basil and cook for 1 minute. Pour over cooked pasta and top with grated Parmesan.
