Cutlery wrap

Nov 29 11:27am
Don't throw your best cutlery in a drawer to get scratched, just wrap it.

Tossing the best silver cutlery in a drawer will leave it tarnished in no time, too, so protect it with a simple storage pocket made from a tea-towel.

Here's how:
1. Fold over a third of the tea-towel and lay out your cutlery inside the fold (as if you were setting the table).

2. Pin the sides and in between each piece to delineate pockets.

3. Remove the cutlery and sew seams along the pin lines. Sew a ribbon to one side.

Now fold over the top and roll up your cutlery. Tie with the ribbon.
