The Heroic Lost Ninja

If you don't want to go, can you be left behind?

Hey, and how awesome was tonight's episode? Oh so much Smokey! It was so great to see our old buddy... but not quite as great as seeing Kate and Juliet wrestle, in the mud AND in the rain. Sweet! I'm letting you know now, this post is only going to be half the usual length, with the rest coming tomorrow afternoon in a special All Smokey Edition. Stay tuned!

Secret clue is up!

First things first - how crazy is it that Kate is unknowingly shacking up with the guy who screwed over a woman who helped her so much in her past? Any chance to see Kim Dickens, who plays Cassidy, is a great thing, and the dynamic between her and Kate was awesome. Still, I think it would've been cool for on-island Kate to somehow twig to this situation... considering Jack and Claire have no idea they're related, I doubt that'll happen any time soon.

Hurley narrowly beats out Smokey to take tonight's Awesomeness Award. Who would've thought friendly, warm and kind Hurley could pull a con on the conman? It seems that Hurley's plan worked out exactly how he thought it would - Sawyer formed bonds with several survivors he obviously barely knew, plus discovered the joy from helping others simply because you can. Using any other character, I think this play would've annoyed me, but Hurley played it so ice cold the entire way until his golden intentions were revealed and simply made me lol. Go son go!

The Others are pretty good at packing up and leaving when the pressure is on. As Sayid pointed out, it was if they completely disappeared - but you know that isn't going to stop him. This is Sayid, the man who is always right, and always has a plan. You can run, Others, but you can't hide from The Ultimate Iraqi.

I bet a ton of you with super-sharp spotting skills noticed the combination Juliet banged into the sonic barrier access panel - 15 16 23. I'll never get tired of those numbers springing up, especially knowing how significant was changing them to Dharma.

Now, I've been asked to pass this on from the Yahoo!7 TV team -
"Yahoo!7 is looking for the biggest Lost fans to feature on our homepage every week! If you have a Lost blog, a fan site, even a video you created that lives online, let us know by posting a link to your site in the comments section on The Lost Ninja's blog and we will select a fan each week to feature!"
Now that's awesome! Well folks, if you've got em, link em, and let's see what you've got!

And with that, I'm going to sign off for tonight. As I mentioned, be sure to come back tomorrow to check out the All Smokey Edition as I suspect it may very well, like, completely rock existence into the next level of self-awareness. Or something. In the meantime, you could watch my exclusive interview with Chris Evans of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer! Catch you on the flip side,

Namaste
