Hey, and OMG - Comic Con is the biggest, most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life! Think hard about the crowds at Big Day Out.... then triple it and you've got an idea of how many people have made the trek to San Diego for the world's biggest pop culture convention!
But that's not what you're here for - you're hear for the hot, hot LOST scoopage... and being the super-sleuth ninja assassin that I am, you know I've come through with the goods! Let's see what I've got in this big ol grab bag of goodies for ya...*LOST VIDEO GAME*
So, as plenty of you would be aware by now, there is indeed a LOST video game coming... It'll be out to coincide with the beginning of season 4 in Feb, and I can't tell you enough about how cool it looks! From the footage we saw, it would appear you play as Jack, and I saw him interacting with Sawyer, Locke, Hurley and Kate at least... Flashbacks will be an integral part of the storyline! The actors are all lending their voices for the game, it is made by Ubisoft and the gameplay should be quite unique as the engine is being built from scratch!

The official release date was announced to be Dec 11th for the US, which is traditionally when it comes out in Australia... they showed us a hilarious look at the unsung heroes of the Others, the Jason's, the Ivan's, the Aldo's... I laughed. Hard.
[IMG4 R] *FLASH-FORWARDS*
Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, executive producers for the show, said they've known the flashbacks could only work for so long for some time, but had to keep quiet on the flash-forward reveal so as to not spoil the finale. Look for plenty more flash-forwards next season, though we'lll still be going back too. They also confirmed that the scene with Kate and Jack is NOT the final scene of LOST - in fact, it is only a part of the huge storyline to come. As Damon said, "The show was never just about getting off the island..."
*STORYLINE MOMENTS*
In a very funny series of questions, where the two cut each other off before too much could be said, the following was revealed:
Jack and Claire WILL find out they're related very soon.
Ben was caught in Rousseau's net purely by accident, and we'll learn soon where he was trekking to.
Richard Alpert will appear sporadically this coming season, as the actor who plays him is signed to another show...
They really want to finally get to Libby's story this year, and Damon implied that anyone who thought she might be working for Dharma might not be wrong...
They hope to get to Rousseau's storyline this year, but Damon said that there some MAJOR island events that needed to take place before this could happen...
AND they pretty much confirmed that Smokey = Cerberus!
*MICHAEL!*Yes folks, Michael (Harold Perrenieu Jr) is 100% confirmed to be returning early this season as a full-time regular, proven when he swaggered out on stage! Both Carlton and Harold mentioned how impossibly hard it was keeping the secret that it was their intention all along to have Michael leave the redemptive island for some time... When asked who he thought was in the coffin, Harold cited the obituary and mentioned the teenage son... he thinks it is himself! I think he might have been joking, but who can tell...
*LOST EXPERIENCE 2*
Yes, you read that right. No, you're not seeing things... Damon and Carlton said that, while they loved putting it on last year, it involved a tremendous amount of work on their part as everything needed to be canon, which is why it didn't resurface this year... however, they definitely want to bring it back for another round, most likely between seasons 4 and 5! AWESOME!
*NEW ORIENTATION FILM!*As a final surprise, the guys showed us what many of us believe to be the first of the long-awaited mobisodes... A new Orientation film! Hosted by Dr Edgar Hallowax, another name for ol' Marvin Candle, he introduces the video as the Orientation for Station 6 - THE ORCHID. Yes, you read that right. He goes on to say that, "By now, you would know that the station is not a botanical research station as you had believed..." He picks up a white rabbit, and the cameraman tells him to hold it facing the other way - so that the 15 on it's side will show. The sounds of the hatch timer going haywire begins, as does what appears to be an earthquake... Dr Edgar drops the F-bomb (awesome!) as he, his assistant and the cameraman recoil in shock at the presence of another white bunny, high on a shelf, with the identical number and markings! Smash to black. I'm pretty sure this is pre-incident, as he had full use of both his arms... During the video, GOD LOVES YOU AS HE LOVED JACOB flashes twice, as well as the upside down image of a gorilla riding a bicycle... Altogether now - WTF?!
Well, there you have it gang, my first report from Comic Con. I've also been covering a ton of film panels, but I'll be saving those for another day. I'll also be covering the Heroes panel tomorrow, so look for my write-up then, including more news on the announcement that Zachary Quinto aka Sylar will be playing Spock in the upcoming Star Trek! Wooo!!
