Hey, and OMG - SAWYER JUST CHOKED ANTHONY COOPER TO DEATH WITH A CHAIN!!! Seriously, what an ep... Answers, mysteries, clues and a hardcore death, as well as confirmation to the theory we've long upheld, that Locke's daddy was the bane of James Ford's existence. They are now both free from their past, but while Locke has a goal to move onto, I wonder what this will mean for Saywer, especially in regards to his new relationship with Kate...
Did anyone else get the eerie chills of Jedi-action when he was doing it? It felt just like when Leia choked Jabba... wow. I did not see that coming at all. I mean, I knew he'd burr up, probably hurt Cooper a little, possibly even kill him with a gun or something - but I did not think, for a second, we'd see Sawyer flat out strangle him to death. Hardcore. I need to give Josh Holloway props for the amazing performance - I think that was the best performance I've seen him give yet.
I'm convinced that the ruins Cooper was tied up on have something, anything to do with the crazy four-toed statue seen in last years finale... I can't give you a reason, I just had my Spidery-ninja sense tingling whenever I saw him tied up there, so I thought I'd share... What do you think?
So, in this episode, we not only watched the spew-filled rebirth of James "Sawyer" Ford, but also of Locke, our mysterious man with the secret Island connection that just keeps getting more twisted. After struggling with his inability to kill his Dad, Richard suggested he get someone else to do it - someone who could... As we saw in Locke's flashback at the commune, he simply cannot bring himself to take a life. Finally, Locke has learned ask for help to achieve his goals in life.
As Locke and Richard sat on the hill, observing the rest of the Others camp, Richard explained how he'd become disillusioned with Benry's leadership and that all the Others were excited that Locke had arrived - anyone who had been paralyzed and began walking the moment they arrived must have been very special. Is it just me, or did it seem like perhaps Richard wants Locke around far more than Benry does? Any takers on a reason why?
Hurrah - the parachutist has a name, it is Naomi, and her arrival has certainly caused some feathers to be ruffled! Desmond doesn't trust Jack and won't tell him about her, feeling Sayid is a better choice (correct, Des!). Kate, however, catches Hurley and Sayid discussing her and, once finding out about Naomi, goes running straight to Jack to dob. C'mon Kate - how dumb are you? They were obviously keeping it quiet to suss her AND Jack out... ugh... No Jack and Juliet have a secret and, guess what? They're not telling YOU!!
Naomi told Sayid in detail the occurances of how she came to the island, including being hired by Penelope Widmore, the search and rescue boat's location and that she had a satellite phone in her possession. You know something must be horrendously screwy with the island when even Sayid can't get your tech up and running... I hope that he finds a way to get it fired up and functioning asap!Tonight was also the Heroes finale :( I'm not going to talk about it so as to not spoil it for those of you, many many many of you, who will inevitably pick it up on DVD. I will say this - Heroes will screen at the same time as in the US beginning season 2! How awesome is that, no waiting til February!
Now, I have some very, VERY exciting news to share. I've been talking it up for a while but I haven't been able to say anything until it was all confirmed, which it now is. In two weeks, I'll be doing sit down, video interviews with both Dominic (Charlie) and Evangelline (Kate) here in Sydney, the week before the finale. The next day, I'll be heading to Hawaii, where I'll be spending four days hunting down every information I can get about season 4 from the cast and crew.
THEN I'll be heading to San Diego Comic Con! That's right, I was so envious of everyone at last year's panel that I couldn't not go this year. What does this mean? You'll be getting EXCLUSIVE coverage of the LOST panel, which will be the first time the producers have discussed the finale since it happened, as well as the first time they'll be talking about what is ahead for season four!
